Peter J. McDonald, D.D.S.

While at the University of St. Thomas, Dr. Pete majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Pete was also a member of the varsity hockey team. Following his time at St. Thomas, Dr. Pete received his Doctoral of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Pete is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Since his graduation from dental school, Dr. Pete has continued his education by receiving the University of Minnesota’s Postgraduate Program certificate in Esthetic Dentistry. This consists of over one hundred hours of continuing education focusing on achieving ideal esthetics through the placement of tooth-colored composite fillings and the placement of all porcelain ceramic crowns and veneers. Dr. Pete is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. This consisted of over 380 hours of both clinical and classroom study focusing strictly on the surgical placement of dental implants, followed by a written examination.
